Cape Medical Supply Honored with SCORE "Build a Better Mousetrap" Award

The following appeared in the Sandwich Chamber of Commerce Newsletter on May 4, 2009.  Cape Medical Supply is honored to receive recognition for business success, longevity and performance and company executives will be on hand to accept the award in early June.

Sandwich-based Cape Medical Supply wins "The Better Mousetrap Award"

The Chamber Board of Directors chose Cape Medical Supply as their pick for the annual SCORE award. The Sheehan family has built the business since 1977, first by providing home respiratory equipment and then continually expanding services and other medical equipment. Over the years they have opened stores in Plymouth, Falmouth and most recently Hyannis.

In addition to innovative and meticulous business practices, Cape Medical Supply is known for generously supporting the community through sponsorship and participation. In 2008, the company won the Cape Cod Business Philanthropy award, from The Planned Giving Council of Cape Cod. Charitable contributions and community leadership continue to be high priorities for the company, as evidenced by the variety of leadership positions assumed by the management and owners.

Cape Medical Supply will be honored at the SCORE Awards "Build a Better Mousetrap" Breakfast on June 2nd.
