Cape Medical Supply Honored as National Runner-Up for Best Home Medical Equipment Company

Cape Medical Supply has been honored as the national runner-up for Home Medical Equipment Company of the Year. A description of the award, given nationally through the HME Excellence Awards program, is as follows;

The HME Excellence Awards seek to identify the nation’s premier providers of home medical equipment, home respiratory therapy and rehab supplies. The goal of these awards is to recognize the outstanding achievements of those providers who excel in an industry full of difficult challenges.

Now in its seventh year, the HME Excellence Awards program has become the most coveted form of recognition in the industry.

The award was presented the evening of April 21, 2009 in Baltimore, MD, where Cape Medical Supply executives were participating in the HME Business Summit and HME Expo.

"This honor is recognition for all of our team members who work so hard every day to go the extra mile for our patients, customers and referral sources," commented CEO Gary Sheehan. "We were tremendously honored to be considered and our congratulations go out to all the other companies who participated.  We remain hungry for the top spot and will do what we can in 2010!"
