The Foundation was started in 2010 to celebrate the life and philanthropic priorities of Mark Sheehan, Co-Founder of Cape Medical Supply who tragically lost a long battle with cancer in 2010 at the age of 61. The mission of the foundation is to support the Cape Cod community, with special focus on end of life and cancer support services in the region which shall be accomplished through periodic fundraising events and a managed grant process to enhance the services and care available for patients and families in the region.

Mark Sheehan Co-Founded Cape Medical Supply in 1977 with his wife Nancy. After a pro-longed battle with cancer, Mark passed away on April 2, 2010. He had a longstanding committment to the local non-profit community; The Cape Medical Supply Mark Sheehan Memorial Foundation will cement his legacy of committment and will continue to fund the philanthropic priorities which were so important to Mark during his career and life here on Cape Cod.
