In her role as Director of Clinical Respiratory Services, Denise oversees Cape Medical Supply's oxygen, CPAP, Bi-PAP, and other respiratory related patients. She and her staff work to monitor the patient population, design programs to help them effectively manage their disease state, and ensure all patients are educated on the most effective ways to utilize the equipment they are prescribed. In addition to working with patients, Denise works extensively with the physicians and healthcare professionals in the area to keep them aware of the newest technology available for their patients, and also conducts frequent in-services to ensure that others are up to speed with safe handling requirements, and general utilization issues.
Prior to joining Cape Medical Supply in 1998, Denise provided respiratory care in skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation, and acute care hospitals for over 20 years. She received her degree in Respiratory Therapy at Gannon University, Erie, PA and Bachelors in Business Administration at Suffolk University, Boston, MA. Denise earned the designation of Registered Respiratory Therapist in 1986. She resides on Cape Cod with her spouse and children.
