Mrs. Walters is the Director of Clinical Respiratory Services of Cape Medical Supply. In this role she oversees all of the respiratory patients and programs with particular focus on the sleep apnea and home oxygen patients. As part of her oversight she works with vendors to assess the latest technologies available to patients and ensures Cape Medical Supply patients have access to the latest and greatest technologies and are properly matched with equipment which will best suit their needs.  Mrs. Walters focuses on the clinical services received by Cape Medical Supply patients and also works aggressively with healthcare professionals and the community at large to ensure all are educated on respiratory best practices and the programs and procedures Cape Medical Supply is employing on their patient base.  She frequently presents to physician practices, local COPD and Sleep Apnea support groups, and other community organizations addressing respiratory health and wellness.
In addition to her role with the Clinical Respiratory Department, Mrs. Walters has lead up several successful Joint Commission accreditations for Cape Medical Supply and oversees ongoing compliance with Joint Commission standards.
Mrs. Walters has been practicing Respiratory Therapy for over 24 years, with a breadth of experience in Home Care, In-patient Pulmonary Rehabilitation, and Acute Hospital Care.
Mrs. Walters earned her Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration from Suffolk University, Boston, MA and her degree in Respiratory Therapy from Gannon University in Erie, PA.
